Thanks to our 2004-2006 capital campaign, we have established an endowment to secure our future.
Tipping Point - The Campaign for Maine Initiatives - raised $2.5 million from 325 donations, large and small.
The money is now generating income that we're using to cover some of our overhead costs, including fundraising, special events, management, rent, and utilities.
Our ultimate goal is to have all the revenues from our annual appeal go to support the groups building Maine's social justice movement. To get there, we invite you to invest in The Endowment at Maine Initiatives with a planned gift, bequest or direct donation.
Maine Initiatives is one of a very few public foundations that provide general operating grants or that support organizations dedicated to change, not charity.
